面白そうですね。Punctuationについての本らしいのですが、アマゾンに載っている書評によれば、「Who would have thought a book about punctuation could cause such a sensation?」だそうです。

しかし、

って・・・。
どこかで聞いたことがあるような気もしますが、想像するとかなり笑えますね。

念のために書いておくと、shoots（タケノコ）とleaves（笹の葉）を食べる(eat)はずの動物が、食べて(eat)、撃って(shoot)、去る(leaves)動物になってしまっている、ということです。まあいわれてみるとパンダってなんとなくギャングっぽいしなぁ・・・（謎）
