ブッシュ陣営のサイトが見られない件について
大統領選もいよいよ。やじうまwatchでブッシュ陣営のwebsiteが日本から見られないという話が出ていたけれど、これ実はずいぶん前から。私が知ったのはJoi Ito氏のblogで（Joi Ito's Web : Japan blocked from George W Bush site）。日付が8月だから、それからずーっとその状態だったんですね。
Joi Ito氏のエントリについているコメントを見るとアメリカ以外からは見られていないことが分かります。ということはやはり、どうせ票にならないんだからDDos攻撃とかあったらいやだし最初から全部遮断しちゃえーって感じなんですかね。
ちなみに似たような話（ん。似てるかな？（笑））としてはホワイトハウスのサイトのrobots.txtもありましたね。Disallowにiraqがどっさりー。

この話、8月に聞いたときにはイギリスからは見る事出来たんですよ。でも、今回はダメです(^^ゞ。
隣町にアメリカンスクールがあるらしいので、その影響かもしれないですが、ケリー候補支持のステッカーを付けた車を見かけることあります。外国にいても、投票は出来るんですけどね。
